Operating System Requirements

Due to a switch from Qt 5 to Qt 6 several software (packages) should be checked for their compatibility with the operating system. This includes following tools:
  • infiniSee 5.0
  • Knime 2.28 (Also includes the compatibility with the listed components)
  • CoLibri 8.0 (fragspace_merger 3.9, reaction_synthesizer 5.3, spacelight_db_creator 1.1)
  • FTrees 6.9
  • FTreesQueryGen 2.1
  • SpaceLight 1.1
  • SeeSAR 13.0
  • Knime 2.29 (Also includes the compatibility with the listed components)
  • Conformator 1.2
  • Coordinates3d 1.3
  • FlexS 5.0
  • FlexX 6.0
  • FastGrow 1.1
  • Hydescorer 2.0
  • Naomi 3.3
The switch to Qt6 requires a Linux distribution which has at least glibc version 2.28.

  • Rocky Linux 8 and later
  • Ubuntu 20.04 and later
Plase take note that older versions (e.g., CentOS 7 and older, Debian 9 and older, openSUSE 15.2 and older, Ubuntu 18.04 and older) may lead to software incompatibility.
All BioSolveIT applications are compatible with Windows 10 and above.
No incompatibilities were observed with macOS 10.14 (Mojave) and higher.
Requires glibc 2.14.

Plase take note that older versions (e.g., CentOS 6.1 and older, Debian 7.0 wheezy and older, openSUSE 11.4 and older, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.10 (Santiago) and older, Ubuntu oneiric and older) may lead to software incompatibility.
